1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the website anagramwheel.com ("Anagram Wheel", "we", "us"). The site is operated from Australia. If you have any questions or want to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves a few small items locally in your browser so it works the way you expect. These stay on your device, are not transmitted to us, and are not used to track you:

These are strictly necessary or functional. Under the EU/UK ePrivacy rules they don't require consent, and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
3. Analytics
If you consent, we load Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, does not track you across other sites, and does not store your IP address. It only gives us aggregated counts such as page views and popular pages. If you decline, it is not loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time using the "Privacy choices" link in the site footer. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.
4. Hosting and security
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare automatically processes limited technical data (such as your IP address and request details) in its server logs. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website for this. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
5. Fonts
Fonts are served from our own server. We do not load fonts from third-party services, so loading the page does not share your IP address with any font provider.
6. If you email us
If you contact us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply. We don't add you to any mailing list.
7. Your rights
Because we don't hold accounts, we usually hold no personal information that identifies you. Where we do (for example, an email you send us), you can ask us to access, correct, or delete it, and you can withdraw analytics consent at any time.
- Australia: we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
- EU / EEA / UK: you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability under the GDPR / UK GDPR, and may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful bases are your consent (analytics) and our legitimate interests (operating and securing the site).
8. International transfers
Our hosting and analytics provider, Cloudflare, operates globally including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by the safeguards that provider maintains.
9. Children
Anagram Wheel is a general-audience word tool. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
